Forget Me Nots: Month 11

Dear Isabel,

You are 11 months old, which means in just one short month we will be celebrating your first birthday!  To say I cannot believe it would be the understatement of the year!!!!!!

Sleep: Still taking two naps, but it is getting harder and harder to get those two naps out of you!  But thankfully you consistently sleep through the night and go to bed rather easily.

Feedings: You are getting picky with what you will eat. We have to hide things in applesauce, butternut squash and sweet potato to get you to eat them! 

Diaper Size: Size 4

Development: You have both of your top teeth and I believe some more on the way!

You are a walking maniac!  You walk here there and everywhere all by yourself.  It happened all at once it seems.  One day you were just taking a few steps and then the next you were off on your own!  You also think you can run, but quickly realize you are not quite ready for that, and neither are mommy and daddy!

You are finally holding your own bottle and sippy cup!

Stats Weight/Length: No appointment until next month!

Clothing Size: You are in 12 months clothes and some 18 months.

Favorite Moment this Month:

         This month was full of wonderful memories including celebrating your first Thanksgiving, decorating for Christmas, visiting Santa, watching you experience seeing the lights for the first time, and opening Christmas presents! But my favorite moment has nothing to do with all of the celebrating we have been doing, but everything to do with you and your sweet little heart!  You have started giving hugs and kisses at your own will just because you want them, and you fill my heart and soul every time you come in for a big slobbery kiss or big, hold on tight, hug!

Other tidbits:

-       Grandma Val came to visit for Christmas and you got meet miss Eva. You thought seeing a real live baby was pretty awesome.  I hope she didn’t mind you poking her with excitement!

-       Like I mentioned before you met Santa for the first time, saw Christmas lights, and are a walker.

-       You celebrated Christmas Eve on your 11month birthday.

-       You take your baby Giraffe with you everywhere.

-       You love pulling all of the clothes out of your hamper.

-       You love opening and closing doors and drawers.

-       You are such a jabberer.  I wish I knew what you were saying!

We had a wonderful 11^th month and I absolutely, positively, CANNOT wrap my mind around the fact that I am planning your first birthday party!!!!
